All services supplied by Makeup by Lola JO (ABN 60 728 833 839) are subject to terms and conditions. By booking with Makeup by Lola JO, the client agrees to the terms and conditions listed in this document and attached to all booking request emails. Terms and conditions are subject to change without notice, thus, it’s the customer's responsibility to enquire about any changes to terms and conditions.

Bookings are NOT confirmed until terms and conditions have been agreed to.

Terms and conditions
 

• The 30% deposit is non-refundable or transferable as reserving the time and date for the client creates a loss if the booking is cancelled, due to clients who had to be turned away because of the reservation of this booking. 

• The client is to pay the remaining balance before the application begins on the day or days before the application with a copy of the invoice sent to Makeup by Lola JO via email. In the case that the client needs to cancel the booking before the application has begun and has already paid the remaining balance, the remaining balance will be returned to the client within 7 business days. 

• The client understands all transactions are final once the makeup application has begun.

• In the case of group bookings, clients can add more people to a booking if time permits however they cannot reduce the number in the group booking once a deposit has been confirmed.  In the case there is a cancellation of a member in a group booking, they can be replaced, otherwise, the deposit will be forfeited for those members no longer requiring makeup.

• Clients are to not touch any of Makeup by Lola JO's belongings unless permission is given to do so. In the case that the client fails to follow this instruction and damages or contaminates any of Makeup by Lola JO's products, the client must reimburse her to replace the item.

• Clients are ready to start on time with clean skin and no traces of makeup on. A $20 fee will be incurred if the artist has to remove the client's makeup and additional time to cover time lost in removing the previous makeup can not be guaranteed depending on Makeup by Lola JO's schedule.

• If the client is running late they must notify Makeup by Lola JO immediately. If the client is more than 20 minutes late for their appointment, the client understands that they will forfeit their application along with their deposit. However, if time permits, Makeup by Lola JO will do what she can in the remaining time she has left with no reduction to the original quoted price. This decision is solely up to Makeup by Lola JO and dependent on Makeup by Lola JO's schedule that day.

• Any unwanted facial hair is to be removed before the application.

• Clients are to inform Makeup by Lola JO of any relevant to know medical conditions,  allergies, sensitivities and contagious conditions e.g. colds, flu, latex allergies, fragrance allergies, styes and cold sores, so the booking can be adjusted accordingly, perform a patch test or cancel the booking if needed to prevent any harm to the client(s) and/or cross-contamination between myself and clients.

• The client agrees to release Makeup by Lola JO from liability for any complications due to incidental/ consequential damages however characterised. Makeup by Lola JO is not, under any circumstances, responsible for any unforeseeable allergic reactions to products used. The onus is on the client to give advance notification of any known allergies/sensitivities to Makeup by Lola JO.

• Makeup by Lola Jo has the right to change prices at any given time. ​ All prices will be honoured in the case of a price change up to 30 days after the original quote day.

• In accordance with Victorian government requirements, all clients must check in, preferably  using Makeup by Lola JO's QR code, and be able to show proof of their vaccination status meeting the government requirements.  Failure to do so will forfeit the client's booking and the deposit.

• All parking fees must be covered by the client (e.g hotel parking and meter parking.)  

• The client gives permission to Makeup by Lola JO to use all photos taken of the client for portfolio/advertising/promotion purposes unless requested not to be.

•  Makeup by Lola JO prepares for each booking by accounting for the number of people booked in. Any additional people wanting makeup of any degree will be charged at the full rate regardless of how much they wish to have done. To avoid disappoint ensure all people wanting makeup have been accounted for so they can be prepared for adequately and any other guest are aware of the full charges associated with my services.
